Photographed on film inside the Barbican Conservatory before its closure for renovation, Simone’s images record a space at the threshold of transformation. Captiva investigates what happens when the image regains body. The prints are suspended within translucent resin. The material becomes an active field, registering shifts in light, reflection and movement.
