Terms & Conditions of Sale
(B2C & B2B Customers)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all sales of goods by Monologue London Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) via our website www.monologuelondon.com, in-store, or through direct order.
They apply to both consumers (individuals purchasing for personal use, “B2C”) and business customers (purchasing in the course of trade, “B2B”). Where rights differ, this is made clear in separate sections.
By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. General
We reserve the right to refuse service or orders at our discretion.
All descriptions, images, and pricing are subject to change without notice.
Colours, finishes and materials may vary due to display settings or natural variations (e.g. wood, stone, textiles).
2. Orders & Acceptance
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase goods.
A contract is formed only when we send you written order confirmation.
We reserve the right to cancel or limit orders (e.g., bulk purchases, resale activity, suspicious orders).
3. Prices & Payment
Prices include VAT (where applicable).
Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless agreed otherwise for trade accounts.
All bank charges (including intermediary and receiving fees) are payable by the customer.
4. Delivery
Standard delivery times vary depending on product availability.
We will confirm estimated lead times when you place your order.
B2C & B2B customers:
. Delivery dates are estimates only.
. We are not liable for delays outside our control.
Risk passes to you upon delivery.
Title passes once full payment has been received.
4B. Aborted Deliveries, Access Issues & Redelivery Charges
Customer Responsibility for Access
You must ensure safe and adequate access for delivery, including suitable doorways, lifts, stairways, parking/loading access, and accurate delivery information.
What Counts as an Aborted Delivery
A delivery is considered aborted if:
. No one is available during the agreed delivery window,
. Access is not possible or unsafe,
. Delivery is refused, or
. Delivery is prevented due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.
Redelivery Charges
If delivery is aborted for the reasons above, you are responsible for all redelivery costs, which must be paid before a new delivery is arranged.
Return to Warehouse & Storage Fees
If goods are returned to the warehouse or carrier depot, you are responsible for:
. return transport charges,
. storage fees, and
. carrier handling fees.
Made-to-Order Items
Made-to-order or customised items cannot be cancelled due to an aborted delivery.
All additional charges must be settled in full before re-delivery.
International Orders
If delivery fails, any customs re-processing fees, return charges, export fees, and further import duties are payable by the customer.
4C. International Sales
If purchasing goods for delivery outside the United Kingdom:
Import Duties & Taxes
Your order may be subject to import duties, customs fees or local taxes.
These are not included in our prices and must be paid by you.
We cannot estimate or control these costs.
Customs Clearance
You are responsible for ensuring the goods comply with your country’s import regulations.
We are not liable for delays, seizures or costs arising from customs processes.
Delivery Times
International delivery times vary by destination, carrier, and customs requirements. Any dates provided are estimates only.
Returns From Overseas
Unless goods are faulty:
. You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning goods to us.
. We recommend using a tracked and insured service.
. Customs fees and taxes paid in your country are non-refundable by us.
Local Consumer Laws
Our contracts are governed by English law.
If you are a consumer outside the UK, you may also have non-excludable rights under your local laws.
5. Returns & Cancellations
(a) Consumers (B2C)
Cooling-off period
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods (excludes made-to-order or personalised items).
How to cancel
You must notify us in writing (email accepted).
Goods must be returned within 14 days of cancellation, unused, in original packaging, and at your own cost.
Refunds
We will refund the original payment (including standard delivery charges, where applicable) within 14 days of receiving returned goods.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
Faulty goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you may:
. reject faulty goods within 30 days for a full refund, or
. request repair or replacement within 6 months of delivery.
(b) Business Customers (B2B)
Orders placed by business or trade customers are non-cancellable and non-returnable unless agreed by us in writing.
Where accepted, restocking fees may apply.
6. Made-to-Order & Custom Items
Products marked “made to order” or customised are non-cancellable and non-refundable once confirmed.
Lead times are estimates and may vary.
7. Warranties
Consumers: Goods are supplied with statutory rights under UK law.
Businesses: Goods are provided “as is” with no warranties other than those expressly stated.
We exclude implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for purpose to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Consumers:
We are liable for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our negligence but not for business-related losses.
Businesses:
Our total liability is capped at the price of the goods supplied.
We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or economic loss.
9. Personal Information
Your data will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Consumers: You may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
Businesses: You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
