Mumbai-based Æquo creates a dialogue between contemporary design and India's extraordinary craft knowledge. Founded by Tarini Jindal Handa, the gallery commissions limited-edition furniture and objects from Indian and international designers working closely with artisans across the country. Wood, stone, metal and textiles become vehicles for exploring both traditional techniques and new ideas.
