Shipping & Returns Policy

Shipping Information

Monologue London dispatches and ships IN STOCK pieces within 3 business days of purchase – no packages are mailed on Saturday or Sunday. 

We use third party shipping companies UPS, DHL, Fed-Ex & Parcel Force, although Monologue London reserves the right to use others depending on their availability and suitability for the order. Monologue London is not responsible for any delays once the piece has left our premises.

Orders placed online are sent via a trackable service. You will be provided with this information once the items are shipped, please be aware we are unable to provide you with an exact delivery time slot.

If you require alternative forms of delivery (Premium Same Day or White Glove and Assembly) please contact your sales representative to discuss options and pricing before placing an order via webstore@monologuelondon.com.

When you order several items, some may be available sooner than others - we will contact you to arrange the most convenient way of delivery, opting for full or split delivery, however additional delivery fees may apply.

 

Fees & Pricing

Monologue London offers customers an automated national and international self-checkout service for products listed on our online webstore.

Delivery fees are calculated depending on weight and final delivery destination of the products ordered. 

For customers who live outside of United Kingdom, Monologue London is not responsible for any import taxes or duties imposed by the country of import on ordered and shipped items. All cross-border duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and these costs can vary depending on the country.

 

In Store Collections

You may pick up your product from our showroom or warehouse in London, however customers are responsible for securing orders for safe delivery to its destination, and Monologue London will not accept any responsibility for damage in transit after it has left our premises. 

A holding fee of £50 per week will be applied for orders held over 7 days. Holding fees must be collected before scheduling delivery.

 

Made to Order, Sale & Ex-Display Items

All goods subject to a lead time due to production are considered ‘MADE TO ORDER’ and are clearly labelled as such on our website. 

These items as well as sale and ex-display are non-returnable and non-refundable, however there is a 24-hour “grace period” where the buyer can cancel the order at no cost by contacting us at webstore@monologuelondon.com if placed via our online store, or directly with your sales representative.

All orders placed online and through our Showroom require payment in full. 

 

Lead Times

Standard lead-times typically range between 4–10 weeks and are clearly displayed in the description of each product on our webstore - please ask your sales representative or contact us via webstore@monologuelondon.com for more specific timings if you have any doubt before placing an order.

Do note that however that lead-time are estimated and approximate, and can be longer or shorter than the quoted times due to various circumstances. Monologue London is not responsible for any delays in production, shipment or customs, however, we will endeavour to make you aware of any changes to timings as soon as possible. 

 

Material Variations 

Please be aware of the natural and un-avoidable variations the materials used in the production the design pieces may have from the pictures showcased on our webstore.

Upholstered items and carpets are produced in different dye cycles, which can cause slight variations in colour. 

Materials such as wood, marble or concrete may have natural inconsistencies in grain, pattern and colour.

Monologue is not responsible for textile and natural variations and these will not be considered to be a fault or grounds for Returns.

 

Returns

We are happy to accept returns of orders from our online store, except for Made to Order, Ex-Display and Sale Items

For enquiries regarding how to return an order, feel free to get in touch via webstore@monologuelondon.com within 5 days from receiving your order. 

Return requests notified after 5 days from receiving your order will not be accepted.

Please also provide your order reference when returning goods - orders are returned at the cost of the customer.

Following receipt of your written notice confirming your intent to return, the goods must be returned unused, and in a fully resalable condition in their original packaging without undue delay and in all circumstances no later than 14 days after the day you have informed us of your decision to cancel.
